OUR STORY

We are a Ghanaian non-profit dedicated to the most vulnerable – those living with mental illness on the streets, often invisible to society and cut off from care. Our founders recognised that while mental illness touches every community, those without family support or resources are left to survive alone, frequently on the streets, without medication, dignity, or hope.

Vision

A Ghana where no mind is left behind

We envision a Ghana where every person with a mental illness has the opportunity to live with dignity, stability, and access to compassionate, high-quality care — free from the streets and free from stigma. A society where community-based support ensures no one is forgotten.

MISSION

Holistic care with dignity at the centre

To provide an inclusive, compassionate, and holistic system of care to the mentally ill living in the community and to foster healing with dignity. We do this by combining emergency relief, clinical treatment, and long-term reintegration support.

OUR GOALS

Shelter and Basic Needs

Offer safe and dignified temporary housing, food, and clothing to help individuals off the streets.

Access to Treatment

Connect individuals with qualified psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatric nurses. Ensure access to medication and ongoing therapy.

Rehabilitation and Social Integration

Skills training, peer support, and social activities to help individuals regain independence and reintegrate into their communities.

Awareness and Reducing Stigma

Public education campaigns to challenge negative perceptions, advocate for the rights of the mentally ill, and encourage a more empathetic society.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

Working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to build a coordinated, sustainable network of care.
